Happy Birthday Maude!

My friend, Maude's birthday is today. She is a keen seamstress (have a look at her blog). 

I used a red A6 Avery card on which I fixed a black ribbon along the middle before placing a rectangle of black cardstock on top. The white and black stripy background paper came from a Dovecraft Designer Paper Pack and the picture of the sewing machine is computer generated. I then perforated a line along the bottom of the card to look like stitches (which you cannot see on the photo) and finally used a black brad to attach a white paper flower to the bottom right-hand corner.
